Finally A Doll That Girls Can Aspire to be Just Like

The media impacts people in every single form that it can possibly think of, including the dolls that young girls (and boys) play with.  In 1959, Ruth Handler introduced to the world the first Barbie doll.  Since then, the Barbie doll has evolved so much with its look, and has been brought through the doors of kid’s bedrooms, including mine.  Personally, I must have had about a hundred Barbie dolls between my sister and I, and while I was playing with those dolls, it never once crossed my mind how those dolls were effecting me or my sister.
